Working at the Commission of Psychologists

The Commission of Psychologists, based in Brussels, is an independent federal government body with responsibility for the title and the deontology of all psychologists in Belgium, regardless of their nationality, professional context or status. We operate under laws and Royal or ministerial decrees. Our body comes under the authority of the minister in charge, the Minister of Small Businesses.

At the end of 2019, around 15,000 psychologists had registered with the Commission of Psychologists. Thanks to this large number of subscriptions, our commission is fully competent to carry out its mission of protecting clients and/or patients, as well as promoting and enhancing the development of the profession.
