Apply for registration

Were you already registered in the past? Then you don't have to renew through this page as it only serves for first inscriptions. Feel free to send an email to info@compsy.be if you need any assistance with your yearly renewal.

You can work however in professions that do not need to be registered on the list and you will not exercise a profession with the title of psychologist.

You can also enroll in a Belgian university to follow a university education in psychology. You can possibly use your previous education to obtain exemptions.

The validation of non-formal and informal learning of a person can be taken into account in order to obtain exemptions for part of a master's degree in psychology. This can have an impact on different courses: from a single subject to several subjects, up to and including the entire internship or master's thesis. Internationally, all of this is based on a European lifelong learning policy and the validation of all forms of learning. The European guidelines on this subject are not imposed but constitute a practical support. A person wishing more information on this subject can contact a university that offers the opportunity to study a master's degree in psychology. Given the differences in legislation and policy between the different universities and especially between the different communities of our country, it can also be useful to get information in several places.
