The operation of the Commission des Psychologues is governed by laws and royal or ministerial decrees, the most important of which is the law of 8 November 1993 protecting the title of psychologist. The Commission of Psychologists is placed under the authority of the Minister for Middle Classes, currently Mr David Clarinval.
