Understanding the role of the Commission of Psychologists

The Commission of Psychologists is an independent federal public body that oversees the title and ethics of all psychologists in Belgium, regardless of their nationality, professional background or status. The operation of the Commission des Psychologues is governed by laws and royal or ministerial decrees, the most important of which is the law of 8 November 1993 protecting the title of psychologist. The Commission of Psychologists falls under the authority of the Minister for the Self-Employed, SMEs, and the Middle Class, Eléonore Simonet.
