Five fundamental values guide our work at the Commission of Psychologists, to ensure that our mission of protecting the title of psychologist and the general public is carried out as effectively as possible.
We aim to promote trust in psychologists in an ethically correct, respectful and impartial manner.
We aim to be professional and committed. Timely assessments and adherence to our working methods are fully in line with this value.
We are keen to establish a dialogue with psychologists and customers alike. That's why, in future, we intend to survey our user groups and inform them about everything we do.
We act as an independent body with a supervisory role. Our aim is not so much to police the psychologists as to protect the trust enjoyed by our professional group. We have been given this responsibility by law.
We're looking for ways to improve our service. The new website and the database it contains are a first step in this process.
